Es bien sabido que Nirvana fue una banda muy importante para toda una generación de melómanos rockeros. No son pocas las personas que piensan que el grupo de Seattle cambió la manera en que el rock se expresaba en aquellos días que marcaron el inicio de los noventas; y el elemento humano más importante para que esto ocurriera fue Kurt Cobain, cuya escritura visceral rascaba la ironía, la incomodidad y el dolor para volverlos lenguaje cotidiano.
Su estilo lírico con la potencia de su música entregaron al oyente momentos de conciencia con frases poderosas que se desgarran y se repiten como heridas abiertas.
