El fin de semana pasado el mundo del rock se conmocionó con la noticia del fallecimiento de Scott Weiland, quien fuera reconocido en la mayor parte de su carrera musical como el vocal de Stone Temple Pilots pero que también se desempeñó en otras agrupaciones como Velvet Revolver y The Wildhaboust, esta última es con la que se encontraba girando en sus últimas horas de vida (esta banda fue la que formó después de que fuera despedido de STP años atrás).
Pero Weiland también trabajaba en sus proyectos en solitario y precisamente el pasado mes de octubre editó un track llamado «Back to the City», lanzado anteriormente a través de su propia app. Este tema fue compuesto en memoria del guitarro Jeremy Brown (colaborador de Weiland), quien falleciera en marzo.
