Hace unos momentos se anunció a través de las redes sociales de Slayer la triste noticia: Jeff Hanneman, guitarrista y miembro fundador de la banda ha fallecido.
Su muerte se registro el día de hoy (2 de mayo) a las 11:00 horas en su casa en el sur de California; producto de una insuficiencia hepática por la cual había estado en los últimos días hospitalizado.

Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed.
